You are a Pathfinder...Your mission is to flatten the enemy city and land your force.
It's dark, the crew are edgy, below you stretches an inhospitable enemy city. But this is no sitting target. Already the anti-aircraft guns are putting up a formidable barrage of flak.
You begin your first bomb run at high level, trying to memorise the position of the enemy guns and strategic military targets. Your first stick of bombs prove deadly accurate, taking out some of the defences. The tell tale flashes of high explosive illuminate the landscape....Emergency...enemy fighter dead ahead - he's locked into your position! Dive out of his range or destroy him with your missiles.
Now down low and fast for a saturation bomb run. Be careful not to overbomb, the red craters will make it impossible to land. You're skimming the buildings, your bomb aimer is scoring direct hits... Then the horizon lights up with the shock waves of a bomb blast...pull out...pull out...we're depending on you to clear the way.
Bomber Run
To load Bomber Run, press 'Shift Lock', then 'Run Stop' followed by 'Play' on Tape Drive. Then release 'Shift Lock'. Bomber Run will now load.
Control your pathfinder bomber using:
I - Bomber climbs
N - Bomber dives
F - Fire rockets
Spacer - Drops bombs
